Information on Preconception Care
Preconception care is the process of reviewing daily living conditions and managing health to conceive a healthy baby.
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the National Center for Child Health and Development provide information on preconception care.
In addition, Inagi City Hospital provides examinations and tests related to pregnancy (subsidized by Tokyo Metropolitan Government), and Inagi City offers subsidies for rubella antibody tests and vaccination costs.

In Tokyo, we hold the "TOKYO Preconception Seminar" to foster interest and awareness in preconception care, provide health check support before pregnancy and childbirth, and also publish awareness-raising videos.

You can check your current health status for future pregnancy and childbirth using the preconception check sheet (for men and women) created by the National Center for Child Health and Development.
Examinations and Tests Related to Pregnancy (Inagi City Hospital)
From July 2026, the preconception care outpatient clinic will be closed for the time being.
Inagi City Hospital has established specialized outpatient clinics as a registered medical institution for the "TOKYO Precon Seminar" hosted by Tokyo Metropolitan Government, supporting future family planning by providing consultations and examinations related to pregnancy (with subsidies from Tokyo).
About Rubella (Health Division of Inagi City)
Rubella can cause congenital abnormalities (congenital rubella syndrome) in babies born to women who are infected during pregnancy. The city provides assistance for rubella antibody testing and vaccination costs.
