Consultation Desk

The sorrow of losing a precious child due to miscarriage or stillbirth is immeasurable.
There are those who carry painful feelings and sadness and cannot consult anyone.
The Public Health Nurse will listen to your feelings, so please feel free to contact us anytime.

We provide telephone consultations by professionals and befrienders (families who have had similar experiences) for the mental support of families who have lost their babies due to SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome), other illnesses, accidents, miscarriages, or stillbirths.

Consultation and gatherings for those who have lost a loved one, from children to adults.

Procedure

Please check the following procedures required depending on the timing of stillbirth (including miscarriage after 12 weeks).

Stillbirth Notification

If the miscarriage or stillbirth occurred after the 4th month of pregnancy, please submit a stillbirth Notification.

Application

Childbirth and Childcare Lump-Sum Payment

Those who are 12 weeks pregnant (85 days) or later (including miscarriage and stillbirth)
This applies to those who are enrolled in the National Health Insurance of Inagi City.
If you are not enrolled in the National Health Insurance, please check with the health insurance you are enrolled in.

Support Benefits for Pregnant Women

Those who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, or artificial abortion after April 1, 2025, can also apply. A Maternal and Child Health Handbook is required to confirm the fact of pregnancy and the number of fetuses.

Those who have experienced a miscarriage or similar event can also apply before submitting a pregnancy notification. In that case, we will confirm the fact of pregnancy with a medical certificate or similar document when the doctor has confirmed the fetal heartbeat.

When applying for benefits, please check the details of the support benefits for pregnant women below, and apply by phone (042-378-3434) to the Parent and Child Comprehensive Support Center or through the application form below.

Subsidy for Health Checkup for Pregnant Women Due to Homecoming, etc.

Those who have received a Maternal and Child Health Handbook and have undergone prenatal checkups at medical institutions or midwifery facilities outside Tokyo are eligible for assistance with their medical expenses.
