We offer a postpartum care program that allows mothers to stay at designated medical institutions for physical and mental care, as well as support for childcare, so they can start their life with their baby with peace of mind.

Eligible Users

Infants and mothers registered as residents of Inagi City who require postpartum care support. (For overnight care, infants under 4 months old and approximately under 7000g; for day care, under 6 months old)

Note: Inada Maternity Clinic may be available for use by spouses and siblings.

Note: A Public Health Nurse will ask about the facility used, start date of use, usage period, and the health condition of the mother and child. Depending on the situation, such as the need for medical care, use may not be possible.

Usage Period

Up to a total of 7 days per childbirth (including days used for day-trip type services). Usage can be split over multiple times. Depending on hospital availability, your request may not be accommodated.

Usage Flow

Postpartum Care Usage Process

(1) Call the city (Confirm the user's status)

Applicants wishing to use the service should call the Parent and Child Comprehensive Support Center in Inagi City (phone: 042-378-3434) from two months before the desired date of use until noon two business days before. (Example: For use on Monday, September 1, please call between Tuesday, July 1 and noon on Thursday, August 28.)

(2) Call the facility (Check availability and usage details)

Please contact the desired facility by phone to arrange the schedule and confirm the details of use.

(3) Call the city (schedule confirmation and application guidance)

Please call the Parent and Child Comprehensive Support Center in Inagi City (phone 042-378-3434) for confirmation of available dates and guidance on online application.

(4) Online Application

Please apply using the application form below. At that time, please note that you will need to enter the application number provided in (3) above.

(5) To the facility on the day of use

A decision notice will be sent by mail after the application. Please come to the facility on the day of use.
