Process until Admission

For children certified as Type 1, 2, and 3 in Kindergarten-type certified children's facilities, and Type 1 in integrated kindergarten and nursery facilities

1. Please apply directly to the nursery you wish to enroll in.
   Note: Please contact the facility by phone in advance.
2. Admission Decision
3. Please submit the necessary documents for the certification application for education and childcare benefits for children to the city through the nursery school.
4. The city will send a certificate of approval, notification of childcare fees, etc.
5. Start Using

 

For certified children of types 2 and 3 in integrated nursery and kindergarten facilities

1. Please apply at the City Hall Child Care Support Division. Please submit the "Childcare Center and Home Daycare Provider Application Form and Education/Childcare Benefit Certification Application Form" along with the necessary documents.
2. City coordination and admission decision
3. The city will send certification, childcare fee decision notifications, etc.
4. Start Using

　Note: For those who wish to enroll in the certified child center Yanokuchi Kindergarten with integrated childcare and kindergarten during the 2025 fiscal year

　[For all classes from 0 to 5 years old] Please apply to City Hall through the kindergarten. Please check the above section "For children certified as 1, 2, or 3 under the Kindergarten-type Certified Childcare Center, and children certified as 1 under the Integrated Kindergarten and Nursery-type Certified Childcare Center."

　Note: For those who wish to enroll in the certified child center Yanokuchi Kindergarten with integrated childcare and kindergarten during FY2026

　[Class for children aged 0 to 2] Please apply directly at City Hall. This is as stated in "For children certified as Type 2 or 3 at the authorized combined nursery and kindergarten."

　[Classes for children aged 3 to 5] Please apply to City Hall through the kindergarten. Please check the section above titled "For children with Type 1, 2, or 3 certification at Kindergarten-type Authorized Childcare Centers, and Type 1 certification at Integrated Authorized Childcare Centers."

About Childcare Fees and Other Charges

Childcare fees are free under the national and metropolitan systems. However, lunch fees are charged separately for classes of children aged 3 to 5 years.
In addition, specific charges (special childcare fees) and actual cost collection will be incurred at the facility. For more details, please contact the Nursery School.

After enrollment, attendance is expected until before starting school.
