Application for the School Enrollment Encouragement System (FY2026 - For Children in Special Support Classes)

In Inagi City, parents or guardians who meet the following criteria will be provided with expenses for school supplies and other costs for Elementary and Junior High Schools according to their income.
If you wish to receive benefits, please apply.
Please note that an application is required every fiscal year. Even those who received school assistance or enrollment encouragement in the previous year must apply again.
The application deadline for initial certification is Thursday, April 30, 2026.
Information about the school enrollment encouragement system will be distributed through schools in April to children attending public elementary and junior high schools in the city.

Eligible Individuals for School Enrollment Incentives

If you live in Inagi City and your child is enrolled in a special support class at an elementary or junior high school in the city, or if they meet the criteria for the degree of disability specified in Article 22-3 of the School Education Act Enforcement Ordinance.

About the School Assistance System and the School Encouragement System

• Application for the School Assistance System (FY2026)

The school enrollment assistance system is a more generous program than the school encouragement system. If your household qualifies, please apply according to the details of that program (you cannot receive both).
Even if you do not qualify for the School Assistance System, if you are eligible for the School Encouragement System, please apply. If you submit an online application for the "School Assistance and Encouragement System for FY2026," you can still be reviewed for the School Encouragement System even if your application for School Assistance is denied.

Note: Households with siblings in the city's Elementary and Junior High Schools can apply for eligible children and students with a single application.

Application Deadline

To receive certification at the beginning of April, please apply by Thursday, April 30, 2026.

If submitted by April 30

Results will be mailed to the applicant's address in early July.

If submitted after that

The benefits will start based on the application date.

Details of Payment

Based on income and the Public Assistance standard amount, a classification judgment will be made, and benefits will be provided as follows according to the classification.

Guidelines for Classification (for a household of 4 people)

• Category 1 and Category 2→Households with a total income of approximately 8 million yen or less
• Category 3→Households with approximately 8 million yen or more

School commuting expenses support

Eligible individuals will be sent guidance by mail to their homes at a later date. First, please apply for the "FY2026 School Assistance and Encouragement System Online Application."

All of the above will be provided for the months following the certified months, excluding August.

The calculation of actual costs is based on one month of the longest duration commuter pass purchased via the cheapest route. Therefore, please understand that the amount actually spent on commuter passes may not match this calculation.
