Subsidy for Reducing the Burden on Parents or Guardians of Children and Students at Foreign Schools

In Inagi City, a portion of educational expenses is subsidized for Parents or Guardians of children and students attending foreign schools.

An application is required every year to receive the subsidy.

Eligible Recipients of the Subsidy

The subsidy is available to Parents or Guardians of children and students who meet all of the following criteria.

1. The child or student attends a foreign school equivalent to elementary and junior high schools as defined by the School Education Act, and the Parent or Guardian bears tuition and other related expenses.
2. Both the child or student and the Parent or Guardian have an address within Inagi City.

Subsidy Amount

1,000 yen per month

Application Method

Please apply for one fiscal year at a time. Fill out the prescribed form available at the Academic Affairs Division counter and submit your application.

Required Documents for Application

• Certificate of Enrollment
• Document showing the bank account for subsidy deposit

Application Period for FY2026

Applications for FY2026 are scheduled to be accepted around January 2027. Please check the public relations and city website for announcements as the application period approaches.
