Basic Policy on School Districts of Inagi City Public Schools
On October 8, 2024, the "Basic Policy on School Districts for Inagi City Public Schools" was established.
In Inagi City, with the progress of urban infrastructure development projects such as the Land Readjustment Project and other developments, the educational environment surrounding children is changing due to changes in the townscape, road conditions, and fluctuations in the number of children and students.
In this situation, approximately every five years, the "Inagi City Public Schools Appropriate School District Review Committee" is established to discuss matters such as the school attendance zones.
About six years have passed since the formulation of the "Basic Policy on School Districts for Inagi City Public Schools" in Fiscal Year 2017. In response to changes in the number of children and students due to development within the city, and to improve the educational environment such as school facilities and school districts, the "Inagi City Public Schools Appropriate School Districts Review Committee" was established to conduct discussions from Fiscal Year 2023 to Fiscal Year 2024.
In response to the "Report on Discussion Results" submitted by the committee, the Board of Education held an explanatory meeting for families living in the areas affected by the school district changes and has established the "Basic Policy on School Districts for Inagi City Public Schools."
