Request for the Introduction of a Medical Wig Subsidy System

I purchased a medical wig due to hair loss from treatment, but I feel the financial burden is heavy.
Upon investigation, it seems that neighboring cities such as Kawasaki City, Chofu City, Fuchu City, and Tama City have subsidy systems for purchasing medical wigs, but I have heard that Inagi City currently does not have such a subsidy system.
For patients undergoing cancer treatment, medical wigs are an important support not only for appearance issues but also for continuing social life and parenting.
We would greatly appreciate it if you could consider introducing a medical wig subsidy system in Inagi City as well.

Response

We are aware that some municipalities provide subsidies for the purchase of wigs and breast prostheses to care for appearance changes associated with cancer treatment. However, the city prioritizes issues to be addressed within a limited budget and implements various projects accordingly.
Regarding the subsidy for the purchase of prosthetic devices and other items for cancer patients, since we have received requests, we will consider implementing it as soon as possible.
