About the Spring Walk at the Tama Service Auxiliary Facility
When applying, I was told that applications could not be made every year previously, and this time as well, there should be a three-year interval. When I asked this time, I was told that a driver's license or passport is required, and if neither is available, a Certificate of Residence should be submitted. When I asked about the My Number Card, I was told it is not acceptable. Even though it has a photo and other information, I wonder why the My Number Card is not accepted. I do not understand why I have to obtain a Certificate of Residence.
Response
Regarding the Spring Walk at the Tama Service Auxiliary Facility, the U.S. Forces Japan have specified the types of identification required for facility entry. For entry to the Spring Walk, either "a driver's license and a Certificate of Residence with registered domicile (both)" or "a passport" is required, and entry with a My Number Card is not permitted. The Certificate of Residence with registered domicile is also required as instructed by the U.S. Forces Japan.
If you do not have the required identification, we regret that you will not be able to participate in the walking event, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We kindly ask for your understanding.
