About the Water Used for School Lunch
I earnestly hope for the use of water purifiers for the water used in school lunches.
In the response to the "Requests from the PTA Federation for FY2025," I saw the opinion hoping for water purifiers to be used for the water in school lunches. Until I saw the response, I had assumed that water purifiers were already being used.
Like others, I would definitely like you to consider installing water purifiers. I believe most households have water purifiers installed, and I hear the same voices from other Parents or Guardians as well.
We are aware that PFAS and the like are not detected in Inagi City and that groundwater is not used, but it is also true that substances other than those are included.
We sincerely hope that tax money will be used for the health of future children.
Response
Regarding the water used for School Lunch, we properly manage water quality based on the "School Lunch Hygiene Management Standards" and the "School Environmental Hygiene Standards."
Specifically, water quality tests are conducted before and after cooking to ensure the safety of the water used. Additionally, every fiscal year, a simplified exclusive water supply inspection, as stipulated by the Water Supply Act, is conducted to confirm that the hygiene management of the water supply, including water quality standards, is satisfactory.
Therefore, there are no plans to install water purifiers for the water used in School Lunch.
