About the School Lunch and Food Education Experience Event

I am currently a teenager, and I really love school lunches, thinking, "I want to eat more school lunches!"
School lunch is not just a simple midday meal; I believe it is something special connected to the time spent with friends and memories of school life. Not only us teenagers but also adults and older adults who ate school lunches in the past probably have many who think, "I want to eat that school lunch once again."
Therefore, could you hold a "School Lunch and Food Education Experience Event" in Inagi City that anyone can participate in?
For example, if you revive old school lunch menus such as fried bread and soft noodles, it would provide an opportunity for people across generations to talk about "This is what school lunch was like back then" and "This is what school lunch is like now," creating an event where everyone from teenagers to older adults can interact.
Additionally, by learning about school lunch menus and nutrition from nutritionists and cooks, and by experiencing how to make popular dishes, it also leads to "food education," where people can enjoyably learn about food.
Furthermore, by introducing Inagi City's school lunches and local production for local consumption initiatives, it could become an opportunity to promote the city's appeal as "school lunches unique to Inagi."
I think it would be fine to start by holding small-scale events about once a year with advance reservations, and then improve the content through surveys of the participants.
Because I am currently a teenager, I wanted to honestly express to the city my desire to "eat more school lunches!" At first glance, it may seem like a personal wish, but I believe that school lunches can serve as a catalyst for intergenerational exchange, food education, and promoting the appeal of Inagi City.
We would be delighted if you could consider this as a new initiative for community exchange and food education in Inagi City.

Response

The proposed "School Lunch and Food Education Experience Event" is an attractive plan; however, the School Lunch Joint Cooking Facility is a facility aimed at providing safe and secure School Lunches to children and students. To hold events for the general public, there are various challenges such as securing a dedicated cooking line, staffing, securing expenses, and hygiene management.
For these reasons, at present, it is difficult to hold events like the one you proposed; however, we believe that efforts to broadly deepen understanding of School Lunch are necessary.
Furthermore, the city recognizes the promotion of food education and initiatives for local production for local consumption as important, and will continue to strive to enhance School Lunch while ensuring the provision of safe and secure School Lunch to children and students.
