Regarding the West Side Bicycle Parking Lot at Yanokuchi Station

I use the bicycle parking lot under the guard on the west side of Yanokuchi Station 3 to 4 times a week.
Because I use a child seat bicycle, I often use the fixed zone (the southernmost row), but since it is at the edge, the front half of the bicycle gets wet in the rain. The guard acts as a roof vertically, but it seems that a slight wind causes it to get wet. I don’t want to put it in the movable inner section because it’s hard to take out (and I want to avoid damage from contact), but the child seat bicycle, which is quite expensive, is likely to be damaged early due to rain. Is there any way to improve this? Recently, there have been many sudden heavy rains, so it often gets wet. I would appreciate your consideration.

Response

In Inagi City, the bicycle parking lots requested are maintained and managed by the Public Interest Incorporated Foundation Bicycle Parking Lot Development Center.
When we conveyed your opinion, the Public Interest Incorporated Foundation Bicycle Parking Lot Development Center responded that large-scale renovations are difficult due to operating with minimal necessary equipment and staff to keep usage fees low; however, they said they would consider installing rental towels at the local office for use when bicycles get wet from rain while parked.
