Regarding the Attraction of a Book Cafe

There are no bookstores at all around Hirao 4-chome in Inagi City, and there is no place where you can casually pick up a book on a daily basis. To use a bookstore, you need to go to a bookstore in Wakabadai or Shin-Yurigaoka, which takes about 20 to 30 minutes even by bicycle. Additionally, there are few restaurants in the area, and some stores become crowded with customers, making it difficult to get in.

It would be greatly helpful to have a place within the community where people can casually engage with books, take a break, and spend time. We would appreciate your consideration regarding the attraction and development of a book cafe that combines bookstore and cafe functions.

The city is undertaking various initiatives, such as a major revision of the corporate attraction ordinance, to revitalize the regional economy and promote Community Development that brings vibrancy, so that all citizens can feel comfortable living here.
On the other hand, regarding the opening of a book cafe in the Hirao 4-chome area as suggested, it will be a decision made by private companies after comprehensively considering various factors such as profitability and the surrounding environment.
