About Main Telephone Reception
When calling the City Hall main phone number and stating the person in charge at reception, why is it that a different person answers in the department I am transferred to, and I have to tell them the person in charge again?
Response
Each section is equipped with up to 10 telephones with different numbers according to the number of staff and units, and the telephone operator confirms the name of the person in charge to connect to the nearest telephone.
However, the nearest staff member may answer the connected phone, or if the designated person in charge is attending to another customer or away from their desk, the staff member who first answers the phone may ask about your inquiry.
When connecting your call, we strive to promptly transfer you to the designated person in charge whenever possible; however, depending on the situation, it may be difficult to connect you directly.
