Request for Increased Limousine Bus Service to Haneda Airport
The Inagi City Website (https://www.city.inagi.tokyo.jp/kurashi/koutsuu/1002846/1002861.html) provides information about the airport shuttle bus. When using an airplane, I often take the limousine bus from Haneda Airport to Inagi Station, but currently, the number of buses is too few, making it quite inconvenient. I hope the city will also request Keio Bus and Tokyo Airport Transport to increase the number of services.
Response
Regarding the bus routes connecting Inagi Station, Wakabadai Station, and Haneda Airport, we have informed the bus operators of requests from bus users and the city for increased service frequency.
At that time, when we asked the bus operators, Keio Bus Co., Ltd. and Tokyo Airport Transport Co., Ltd., about the reason why the number of services has remained low since the COVID-19 pandemic, they explained that although the number of domestic airline passengers is increasing, a nationwide shortage of drivers prevents them from increasing the number of services immediately.
The city will continue to make requests for increased service through the "Inagi City Regional Public Transportation Conference," which is composed of representatives from each Neighborhood Association, various citizen groups, bus operators, the police, and others.
