About City Administration
What exactly are the heatstroke prevention measures that the local government is referring to?
At home without air conditioning, indoor temperature 35 to 37 degrees
Please use air conditioning to prevent heat stroke.
Is Inagi City a municipality that justifies it as natural if poor citizens cannot use air conditioners and suffer from heatstroke? We request subsidies for installing one air conditioner per household. Older Adults are struggling, and younger generations are also having difficulties. We hope you will positively consider subsidies for air conditioner installation to reduce the risk of heatstroke. If not addressed promptly, the risk of death will increase.
Response
Currently, Inagi City does not have a subsidy system for air conditioner installation costs. However, at the "Comprehensive Welfare and Living Support Desk" located on the 2nd floor of Inagi City Hall, we listen to your current situation and circumstances and provide guidance on support and applicable systems accordingly. We also offer consultations by phone or visit, so if you have any difficulties in your daily life, please feel free to contact us.

In addition, Inagi City has set up "Cooling Spots (Cooling Shelters)" to provide a cool environment as a measure against heat.
For details on the installation period, opening hours, and installation locations, please check the city's website.
