Regarding Parenting Policies

There are few pediatric clinics near the Oshitate area, making it difficult to receive children's Vaccination within the city. Especially in Oshitate, it is close to Fuchu City, and in many cases, medical institutions in Fuchu City are actually easier to access.

Therefore, we strongly hope that Inagi City and Fuchu City will collaborate on vaccination, allowing routine vaccinations to be received at pediatric clinics within Fuchu City as well.

Response

Currently, receiving regular vaccination in other municipalities is possible by completing the application procedure for out-of-city vaccination in advance. This is because, according to the "Guidelines for Regular Vaccination Implementation" established by the national government, it is principle to receive vaccination in the municipality of residence, and if you wish to receive regular vaccination outside Inagi City, an application is required.
As a special case, in the five cities belonging to the Minami-Tama Health and Medical Area, which includes Inagi City, Hachioji City, Machida City, Hino City, and Tama City, an agreement has been made among the five cities and their medical associations to allow mutual access. This means that if the medical institution is designated by each city, children can receive their routine vaccinations anywhere without prior application for out-of-city vaccination. However, regarding Fuchu City, since it belongs to a different health and medical area, mutual access is difficult.
Finally, regarding medical services in the city, we will continue to work on enhancing community healthcare in cooperation with the Inagi City Medical Association, a general incorporated association.
