Regarding the Planned Establishment of Parks and a Children's Center in the Minamiyama Area

I moved to the Minamiyama area this March. My daughter, who is in the first grade of elementary school, attends Minamiyama Elementary School.
However, there are no parks or Children's Centers in the Minamiyama area, so we go to Kameyamashita Park and the Children's Center next to it. On weekday afternoons after school, it is very crowded, and the Children's Center is full of people. There are still many houses under construction in the Minamiyama area, so I expect the number of households to increase. Are there any plans to build a larger park or Children's Center in the Minamiyama area in the future? If not, I would like to request this urgently. We are troubled because there is no place for children to play.

[Regarding Parks in the Minamiyama Area]
Regarding the Minamiyama East Area where you reside, this is a district where the Minamiyama East Land Readjustment Project Association (hereinafter referred to as the Association) is conducting residential land development and park maintenance. Due to the progress of the development work and the necessity to use the area as parking for construction-related vehicles, there are parts where maintenance cannot proceed.
The city is also aware of the shortage of parks, and last year, the city provisionally installed playground equipment and developed a plaza on part of the planned site for Okubatayato Park (west side of Yaoko) so that local children can play, and opened it to the public.
Within this fiscal year, small-scale parks (Block Parks 5) will be developed in Blocks 49 and 54.
Going forward, we will sequentially develop Okubatayato Park, the largest park in the district, as well as Minamiyama Parks 1 and 2, and Block Parks 1 and 4.
We will continue to coordinate between the city and the association to enable local residents to use the parks as soon as possible.

[Regarding the Establishment of a Children's Center]
Regarding the proposal to establish a Children's Center in the Minamiyama area, there are currently no plans to do so. However, the Children's Centers currently in use have many users and can be crowded at certain times. We will continue to collaborate with the entrusted Business Operators to ensure that many children can enjoy using the facilities.
Additionally, the city offers the After-School Childcare Program and After-School Children's Program as places for elementary school students to spend time after school. The After-School Childcare Program provides appropriate play and living environments and aims to promote healthy development through group living. It is intended for those whose parents or guardians have conditions such as employment or illness that limit their ability to provide supervision. The After-School Children's Program is implemented at all elementary schools within the city and is available to students attending those schools. This program provides a safe and secure place by having adults watch over children’s voluntary play and activities. For details on necessary procedures and more information, please refer to the city website (Parenting & Education > Inagi Parenting Information Site).
In addition, there are five Children's Centers and a Children and Youth area at i Plaza within the city, where various projects including creative activities are being carried out.
