About the Traffic Signal in Front of Inagi City Hall

There are many times when I have to stop unnecessarily at the traffic signal in front of the City Hall First Parking Lot, so I would like it to be a push-button type during the daytime as well.

Regarding the management of the traffic signal you inquired about, it is handled by the Metropolitan Police Department, which is the traffic administrator, and we have conveyed your request to the Tama Central Police Station, which has jurisdiction over Inagi City.
Regarding the same intersection, we received a similar request in fiscal 2023, and including that, the city conveyed a request for traffic signal improvements to the Tama Central Police Station. However, the Tama Central Police Station has expressed the view that "there has been no change in traffic volume from 2023 to the present, and due to coordination with nearby traffic signals, improvements to only the traffic signal in front of Inagi City Hall cannot be made."
