Regarding Smoking Outdoors at the Inagi City Comprehensive Gymnasium

Gymnasium users are troubled by smoking outdoors at the gymnasium. Due to restrictions on indoor smoking from the perspective of preventing passive smoking, no smoking areas have been established inside the gymnasium, resulting in outdoor smoking becoming commonplace. Especially on weekends, participants of tournaments and their parents or guardians, judging by their appearance, gather in groups to smoke on the sidewalks and bicycle parking areas. As measures against passive smoking affecting nearby residents, we urgently request actions such as raising awareness to prevent smoking, strengthening patrols, and establishing smoking areas.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by smoking outdoors at Nomura Real Estate Inagi Arena (Inagi City Comprehensive Gymnasium).
At Nomura Real Estate Inagi Arena, the entire facility is designated as non-smoking from the perspectives of facility management and prevention of passive smoking. Accordingly, we will post notices to re-communicate and raise awareness of the smoking rules, issue warnings to various sports organizations, strengthen patrols by the designated manager, and take measures such as cautioning individuals when inappropriate smoking is observed.
