About Inagi City Public Relations

I think it would be cute to promote the mascot character Inagi Nashinosuke more.
When I recently went to Okinawa, a Vtuber girl was merchandised and sold out in the online shop, and she appeared on posters and electronic billboards as an advertising figure.
Recently, Vtubers as mascot characters rather than humanoid forms have also been gaining popularity.
I think Nashinosuke is very cute, so I want it to be promoted more, and if more effort is put into public relations on social media, it could "go viral" and become a hot topic, making Inagi City livelier. Recently, Yomiuriland has been trending on social media, so I hope that when people go to Yomiuriland, they won't just visit Yomiuriland but also take a walk along the cherry blossom-lined streets.

Response

Regarding the city's PR projects utilizing Inagi Nashinosuke, since his birth as the official character in FY2011 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the city's establishment, various initiatives have been carried out, including the creation of a mascot costume and designed manhole covers, installation of clock towers at stations within the city on the JR Nambu Line, monthly publication of four-panel comics in the public relations paper, and management of the Inagi Nashinosuke Facebook page.
Regarding the proposed publicity utilizing SNS, we have been regularly posting on Facebook so far, and moving forward, we will continue to aim to increase the city's recognition and promote visitors' circulation within the city by collaborating with tourism-related Business Operators and others, while researching effective methods of information dissemination.
