About the fence on the back gate side of Inagi Dai 4 Junior High School

I believe I have mentioned this before, but is it really not possible to raise the height of the fence?
We spoke with the junior high school baseball club a few years ago, and they said they would practice hitting in other directions because baseballs were flying over the fence and hitting houses and cars. However, this was not properly communicated, and since then, there have been several instances of balls hitting the house.
This also applies to the junior high school, but the baseball teams that use the field on weekends are unaware that hitting balls in this direction is prohibited. Today, someone came to apologize after hitting a ball against our house, but since the agreement was not shared, we are extremely troubled.
It seems that the teacher of the junior high school baseball club has also changed, and if the same issues keep recurring every time there is a change, our daily safety will be threatened.
Especially including our home, many of the surrounding houses have small children who play in the garden or on the balcony, but when baseball is being played, it makes us anxious.
Since the parking lot is also rented out to customers, thinking that such incidents happen daily makes it impossible to feel at ease, and it inevitably leads to trouble.
Previously, a ball directly hit my foot while I was locking the door in front of the entrance, but before someone gets seriously injured or an important car or house gets damaged, I would like physical measures to be taken a little more, not citing lack of budget.

Response

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and concerns caused. Since the issue was pointed out in 2022, the Board of Education has instructed schools to position themselves with residential houses behind them during batting practice in club activities, and has informed regional groups using the school grounds under the school open facility program to exercise the utmost caution in their use. However, as you have pointed out, we believe that the handover of these precautions was not adequately maintained due to changes in personnel and other factors.
Inagi Dai 4 Junior High School, like other junior high schools in Inagi City, has installed a 10-meter-high ball-proof net along the school grounds boundary. However, if the ball-proof net is to be made any higher, it must be constructed to withstand wind forces, which would require a significant amount of funding for construction. Therefore, early improvements are considered difficult.
In response to this incident, we have instructed that the precautions for using the schoolyard be thoroughly communicated once again to the school and the local groups using the schoolyard through the school open facility program. Additionally, to ensure that these precautions are passed on even when personnel change, notices will be posted on the fences, and efforts will be made to secure the safety and peace of mind of the neighboring residents.
