Regarding Street Trees and the Area Under the Nanbu Line Overpass
The street trees along Inagi Ohashi Street look nice, but when parking in the narrow parking space next to the house, the street trees make it difficult to see pedestrians, bicycles, and cars coming from behind, making parking very difficult and dangerous each time, and the car often gets scratched (the parking space attached to the house is narrow to begin with, and if you don’t park well, the branches usually hit and scratch the car). Therefore, I would like to rent a monthly parking space near my house, but there are almost none available, so I am troubled. Although there is space under the Nanbu Line overpass, it is not being utilized, and it would be helpful if more parking spaces could be added there, like around Yanokuchi.

[Regarding Street Trees]
The road you inquired about is managed by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, so we have conveyed your request to them.
[Regarding the Area Under the Nanbu Line Overpass]
Regarding the area under the JR Nambu Line overpass, based on the JR Nambu Line Overpass Utilization Plan formulated in 2015 by Inagi City, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, and East Japan Railway Company, development is progressing. Within the areas that the city can use, facilities such as bicycle parking lots and welfare facilities are in operation.
On the other hand, since some areas intended for use by East Japan Railway Company have not been utilized yet, the city has been requesting the early utilization of the space under the viaduct so that convenience and revitalization can be improved for local residents, including those living around the station.
Regarding the request for monthly parking received this time, since it falls within the area used by East Japan Railway Company, we will convey it as a valuable opinion.
