About the Exchange of Tennis Court Lighting Tickets

An announcement email arrived on 3/9 (Mon) stating, "Due to the LED lighting upgrade work, the lighting tickets you currently hold will become unusable (expiration in April). Those who have lighting tickets are requested to exchange them for new lighting tickets at the Nomura Real Estate Inagi Arena (Comprehensive Gymnasium) reception desk from the dates below. Also, the new lighting tickets (valid until the end of June) will be available for sale starting on the same dates."
Wakabadai Court will be unavailable due to construction from March 16 to 27, and the lighting tickets you currently have with 82 minutes remaining can no longer be used.
If we had been notified earlier that the existing lighting tickets would become unusable after the construction, we could have purchased and used one-hour tickets to minimize the remaining balance.
Unused lighting tickets can be exchanged for new lighting tickets, but the Comprehensive Gymnasium said that tickets with remaining time that have already been used cannot be exchanged.
82 minutes is equivalent to 1,066 yen; are you telling us to throw that away?
Due to operational circumstances, lighting tickets that were valid until the end of April have become unusable, and the notification was given at a time when there was hardly any time left to use them. Therefore, we would like compensation for the remaining time. Isn’t it unreasonable not to compensate for the remaining time when the user is not at fault?

Response

We apologize for the inconvenience caused regarding the handling of lighting tickets for the tennis courts at Shiroyama Park and "Wakabadai Koen".
Regarding the LED upgrade work for the tennis courts, there were delays in procuring construction materials, and it took time to finalize the construction schedule, which resulted in the announcement being made quite late on March 9.
Also, upon confirming the situation at the Nomura Real Estate Inagi Arena reception, we found that normally, only unused lighting tickets for 1-hour and 2-hour durations are exchanged, and tickets with remaining time during use were not exchanged, which is why we informed that exchange was not possible.
Regarding this matter, since the usage period was shortened due to construction carried out by the city, we have consulted with the designated administrator and decided to exchange lighting tickets with remaining time even if they are partially used.
For the exchange, it will be necessary to visit the Nomura Real Estate Inagi Arena counter again. We apologize for the inconvenience and ask for your understanding.
