Regarding Bicycle Parking Near Wakabadai Station

I go shopping by bicycle near Wakabadai Station, but
Electric bicycles are heavy, and it is very difficult to put them in the bicycle parking area.
The upper part of the upper level is absolutely impossible.
And if there is an electric bicycle with a child seat next to it, it is so tight that it is almost impossible to park.

I feel very stressed looking for a place to park my bicycle. An older person I met today also said it was very difficult.

On the way back from the station, past the Bashamichi (pizza shop) intersection, there is a very large lawn.
The scenery is nice, but it would be very helpful if there were even a small flat space to park bicycles.
It's a bit of a walk to the station, but it's good for health, so could you create a place where we can temporarily park our bicycles?

Response

Regarding the bicycle parking facilities near Wakabadai Station that you requested, there is the Wakabadai Station Front Bicycle Parking Lot, which the city has entrusted to the Bicycle Parking Lot Development Center, a public interest incorporated foundation, for management and operation.
The city will also consult with the Bicycle Parking Lot Development Center, taking into account the usage status of the Wakabadai Station Front Bicycle Parking Lot and the increasing size of bicycles, to consider more efficient parking methods such as changes to the bicycle racks.
In addition, we plan to discuss requests for utilizing private facility land in the future as well.
Furthermore, around Wakabadai Station, there are facilities operated by private business operators (such as Frespo Bicycle Parking and Keio Cycle Park) that allow temporary use, so we would like to inform you for your reference.
