[Application Closed] Adjustment Benefits

On December 22, 2023, the outline of the 2024 tax reform was approved by the Cabinet. As part of measures to prevent Japan's economy from reverting to deflation, a fixed amount tax reduction is being implemented for Income Tax for 2024 and Resident Tax for fiscal year 2024. For those expected to not fully benefit from this tax reduction, an adjustment benefit payment will be provided. This benefit payment is treated as non-taxable and exempt from seizure under the law.
Applications for the adjustment benefit were closed on Thursday, October 31, 2024.
