Outdoor Advertisement Permit Application

Regarding the installation of outdoor advertisements, the "Outdoor Advertising Act" and the "Tokyo Metropolitan Outdoor Advertising Ordinance" stipulate that the installation of outdoor advertisements such as billboards and advertising towers, which are continuously or periodically displayed to the public outdoors, generally requires a permit.

Authorized Person

Depending on the type and scale of the outdoor advertisement, the authorized persons are divided between the Director of the Tokyo Metropolitan Tama Architecture Guidance Office and the Mayor of Inagi City.

Application Office

The application reception desk for both the Tokyo Metropolitan Government permits and the Inagi City permits is located on the 3rd floor of Inagi City Hall, Department of Urban Development, Community Development Planning Division, Development Guidance Section (Outdoor Advertising Responsible).

About Applications by Mail

New permit applications are, in principle, to be submitted in person at the counter.
Only for continuation permit applications, we will accept submissions by mail using the methods below.

1. Please contact the outdoor advertising department by phone to send your renewal application by mail.
2. Please prepare two types of reply envelopes.
   • Please enclose an envelope (Type 3) with a 110 yen stamp affixed for sending the application form fee payment.
   • Please enclose an envelope (size 2) with postage for either a letter pack from the post office or the combined cost of registered mail and standard mail.

[Notice] Restrictions on Outdoor Advertisements Due to the District Plan

In Inagi City, there are areas that have restrictions on outdoor advertising separate from the "Tokyo Metropolitan Outdoor Advertising Ordinance" as part of the District Plan. For details, please refer to the "List of District Plan Locations and Planning Documents".
