Single-Parent Family Housing Support Fund Loan

The Tokyo Social Welfare Council provides housing support funds to Single-Parent Families who are actively working towards independence.

Eligible Individuals

A person who meets all of the following requirements

1. Receiving Child Allowance (including those with the same income level)
2. In principle, registered residents live in Tokyo
3. Following the formulation of the Mother-Child and Father-Child Independence Support Program, aiming for self-reliance

Loan Amount

Up to 40,000 yen per month (maximum of 12 months)

Loan Interest Rate

Interest-free (No guarantor required)

Repayment Period

Within 5 years (60 months)

Exemption from Repayment

If a person who is not employed finds a job within one year from the date of receiving the loan, or changes jobs with a higher expected income than at the time of program formulation, and continues to be employed for one year, the entire repayment amount will be exempted upon application.
