Enrollment in Elementary School (New First Graders)
For children newly enrolling in elementary school from April 2027, please complete the procedures according to the schedule below.
- From October to November 2024: School Entrance Health Checkup
- During January 2025: Sending of Elementary School Enrollment Notification
- From January to February 2025: Implementation of Enrollment Briefing Sessions
School Entrance Health Checkup
For children entering elementary school in April 2025, the school entrance health checkup will be conducted at the elementary school in their school district.
This Health Checkup is intended to confirm the physical and mental health condition of children before school enrollment and to provide necessary advice and guidance for health management.
Note: If your child will not undergo the School Entrance Health Checkup due to advancing to a school other than Inagi City public elementary schools or moving out, please be sure to contact the Academic Affairs Division.

Elementary School Enrollment Notification
The Board of Education will send a school enrollment notification to households with children newly entering elementary school from April 2027, by January 2027.
The school enrollment notification should be submitted to the school during the entrance ceremony, so please keep it safe.
Also, please contact the Academic Affairs Division promptly next time.
- When the school enrollment notification does not arrive
- When moving in or out after receiving the school enrollment notification
- When enrolling in private or national elementary schools
- Procedures for those entering national, metropolitan, and private elementary and junior high schools
Schedule of Briefing Sessions Before Elementary School Enrollment
A briefing session will be held for parents or guardians of children entering municipal elementary schools in April 2027.
The schedule will be posted once it is determined.
