Enrollment During Temporary Return from Overseas
Online applications have started!
In Inagi City, if children residing overseas temporarily return to Japan and wish to enroll in the local public Elementary and Junior High Schools at their place of stay (generally for two weeks or more), we accept enrollment applications through the form below.
If you do not know the designated school for your place of stay or if the school you wish to enroll in is not a designated school, please contact the Academic Affairs Division.
Please note that this system is not a "trial enrollment" but a formal transfer enrollment for academic purposes. Therefore, if the purpose is to enroll as a place to leave your child or to participate only in school events, we may refuse your application. Thank you for your understanding in advance.
Since the review and sharing of information with the school take time, please apply approximately one month in advance.
We will notify you separately of approval or disapproval after the review.
After approval, when returning to Japan, please bring the passports of the Parent or Guardian and the child and come to the Academic Affairs Division on the 6th floor of City Hall.
