QuestionCan I obtain a copy of the Certificate of Residence from a municipality other than the one where I am registered as a resident?

Response

You can receive a copy of the Certificate of Residence even from municipalities other than the one where you are registered (display of family register information is not possible). Applications are limited to cases where the copy is requested by "the applicant themselves" or "a person in the same household as the applicant." A valid photo ID issued by a public authority (such as a My Number Card, the Basic Resident Registration Card, a driver's license, or a passport) is required for the applicant. When presenting a driver's license, the name and address on the license must match the name and address registered in the resident registration. For more details, please refer to the "Wide Area Issuance of Certificate of Residence Copy" page.
