Tokyo Tama 2020 Legacy Road
The "Tokyo Tama 2020 Legacy Road" was established as a council led by eight Tokyo municipalities—Hachioji City, Mitaka City, Fuchu City, Chofu City, Machida City, Koganei City, Tama City, and Inagi City—along the course used for the cycling road race of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. It was certified in August 2024 aiming to become the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's "GOOD CYCLE JAPAN Promotion Model Route."
We promote the use of this course and bicycles, facilitating smooth collaboration among various entities including the eight Tokyo municipalities. From all aspects such as sports, tourism, health, and the environment, we aim to solve regional issues, promote local development, and enhance the appeal of the cities.
