What is the "Station Hiking & Walking Event"?

This is a walking event hosted by JR East that guides you through courses starting from a station or its vicinity, allowing you to enjoy the charm of each region according to the season.

This time, since the event is held in Inagi City, we have devised a course called "Feel the Rapidly Changing Inagi City" that allows you to experience the city’s past (such as local resources) to the present (such as Giants Town Stadium) through hiking. During this season, when it is easy to feel the changing seasons like autumn leaves, please visit each spot and personally experience the charm of our city as it celebrates the 55th anniversary of its establishment.

From Saturday, October 3, 2026 to Monday, October 19, 2026

From 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM

Note: The above indicates the paper map distribution time mentioned later. You may walk outside the listed times, but please be careful to start during hours that allow safe walking, considering the course takes about three hours.

Anyone who enjoys hiking or walking can participate.

Contents

You can walk a course of about three hours from Inagi Transmission Base Pair Terrace through the Higashi-Naganuma and Minamiyama areas to the Yanokuchi district at any date and time you like during the period.

Please check the course using the paper map distributed at Inagi Transmission Base Pair Terrace or the "Station Hiking App."
If you participate using the "Station Hiking App," you can accumulate "Station Hi Tickets" awarded to you and use them to enter prize draws and more (please check the "Station Hiking App" for details).

Note: Receiving the paper map is optional. Those participating via the app should not take a map, but start the app near Pair Terrace and press the participation button to begin hiking.
