Participants will attend a lecture on environmental issues and renewable energy, tour the solar panels installed on the rooftop of Friend Hirao, and build a solar car.

By attending the lecture and then actually touring and crafting, participants will deepen their understanding of renewable energy.

Eligibility

Elementary school students and above living or attending school in the city [Elementary school students must be accompanied by a Parent or Guardian]
Content recommended for third grade elementary school students and above.

Contents

Lecture on environmental issues and renewable energy, tour of solar panels (Note 1), creation and test run of solar cars (Note 2)

Note 1: You will tour the solar panels installed on the rooftop. Stairs will be used to access the rooftop.

Note 2: The test run of the solar cars will take place indoors.
