To everyone who owns trees along the railway tracks

Please manage to prevent trees from falling onto the railway tracks.

If a tree falls onto the railway tracks, it may collide with a train, potentially causing injuries to passengers. Additionally, it can lead to significant disruptions in train operations, such as damage to vehicles, train derailments, power outages due to overhead wire cuts, and signal troubles.

If you are going to carry out tree cutting near the railway tracks, please contact JR East.

When cutting trees near the railway tracks, it is considered "railway proximity work."
Please contact the headquarters or branch office in charge from the HP link below.

In case of emergency, tree cutting may be carried out by JR East.
