Regarding the "Draft Policy for the Development of Urban Planning Roads in Tokyo"
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government, the Special Wards, and 26 cities and 2 towns have formulated the "Urban Planning Road Development Policy (Project Implementation Plan)" four times in the past, which designates priority routes for development, in order to promote the development of urban planning roads in a planned and efficient manner, and have been working to advance the projects.
The current development policy has a planning period through FY2025, and toward the formulation of a new development policy, an interim summary was published in July 2025, and we have been proceeding with consideration based on the opinions received from everyone.
We hereby inform you that the "Development Policy for Urban Planning Roads in Tokyo (Draft)" has been compiled.
Going forward, while receiving your opinions and proposals on this draft, we will continue to examine it further and formulate the "Urban Planning Road Development Policy in Tokyo" by the end of FY2025. We look forward to receiving your opinions and proposals.
