About the Obstetric Medical Compensation System
The "Obstetric Medical Compensation System" provides compensation payments to children who have developed severe cerebral palsy for some reason during childbirth and their families, while also working on cause analysis and recurrence prevention.
This time, a revision of the Obstetric Medical Compensation System was made, and for babies born from January 2022 onward, the "compensation eligibility criteria" have been changed by abolishing the individual review that required a hypoxic condition, and the new standard is "a gestational age of 28 weeks or more."
The application period is from the 1st birthday to the 5th birthday.
