Regarding the Acceptance of Children Requiring Medical Care at Licensed Childcare Centers and Certified Childcare Centers with Integrated Kindergarten and Nursery Services in April 2024 (First Selection)

We provide the following information regarding the acceptance of children requiring medical care (children who need medical care) at Licensed Childcare Centers and authorized early childhood education and care centers in April 2026.

Target Children

Preschool children who meet all of the following

• Need for childcare due to the Parent or Guardian's employment, illness, etc.
• Medical care that parents or guardians routinely provide is established, and stable medical care is being provided.
• It is possible to provide group childcare with other children under the supervision of staff.
• Being able to attend daily.

Available Medical Care Services

The types of medical care that can be provided are, in principle, not limited by the type of medical care. During the consideration of implementing medical care, it will be medical care that is judged to be safely feasible based on the staffing, facility equipment, and other conditions of the Childcare Centers and authorized childcare centers combining nursery and kindergarten functions.

Application Process for Children Requiring Medical Care

1. Preliminary Consultation

Please consult the Child Care Support Division in advance when applying for medical care implementation.

We provide information about submission documents, facility tours, and more.

Note: Consultations regarding applications for medical care implementation are accepted at any time.

For first-time consultations, please apply for your preferred consultation date using the form below.

We will contact you later to inform you of the consultation date.

2 Facility Tour

Please visit all the facilities you wish to see by the medical care implementation application deadline.

Please contact the facility in advance, bring the documents provided during the preliminary consultation, and visit the facility.

3 Medical Care Implementation Application

If you wish to enroll a child requiring medical care in a Childcare Center or a certified child center with integrated nursery and kindergarten functions, you need to apply for medical care implementation before submitting the enrollment application.

Note: The application for medical care implementation is to determine whether acceptance is possible based on the medical care content and health condition of the child wishing to be admitted, and does not decide admission.

Application Period

From Monday, September 1, 2025 to Tuesday, September 30, 2025

Note: Except Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.

Note: If you miss the application period, you will not be able to enroll by April 2026.

4 Decision on Whether Medical Care Can Be Provided

The Inagi City Medical Care Childcare Project Acceptance Review Meeting will be held to determine the feasibility of providing medical care at Childcare Centers and certified childcare centers linked with kindergartens based on the medical care details and health conditions of the applying children, and notify the parents or guardians accordingly.

5 Application for Admission

Those who have been approved to receive medical care at Childcare Centers and Certified Childcare Centers with Integrated Early Childhood Education can apply for admission in April 2026 (first selection).

Note: As a general rule, the application facility and priority order listed on the medical care implementation application form cannot be changed.

6 Decision on Admission Eligibility

7 Coordination with Childcare Centers and Certified Childcare and Education Centers

Those who have been accepted will coordinate with the Childcare Center or the authorized combined nursery school and kindergarten regarding the content and methods of medical care during childcare hours, as well as other necessary matters.

Note: After the admission decision, the month of admission may change depending on the availability of nurses and other factors related to facility use.

Notes

For applications submitted after the deadline for the medical care implementation application for the April 2026 (first selection), if the implementation of medical care is decided, the admission decision will be made at the nearest admission selection after the medical care implementation decision date among the admission selections from May 2026 onward.

Note: The April 2026 (second selection) will only consider those who have applied since April 2026 (first selection).

Note: It takes about two months from the application for medical care implementation until the decision on whether medical care can be provided.
