An agreement on the "Monitoring Service" has been concluded with otta Inc. and Change Holdings Inc.

In Inagi City, with the aim of further improving safety on school routes and other areas, an agreement on the "Monitoring Service" has been concluded as a public-private partnership project with otta Inc. and Change Holdings Inc.

Overview of the "Agreement on Monitoring Services"

Purpose

The purpose is to widely promote the monitoring service in order to improve the safe and secure living environment in Inagi City.

 

Cooperation Matters

From October 2026, a child monitoring service during commuting to and from school will be launched at all public elementary schools in Inagi City, aiming to realize a safe and secure living environment.

1. Monitoring devices will be distributed free of charge to students (parents or guardians) who wish to enroll in the service, from 1st to 6th grade at Inagi City public elementary schools.

2. When a child carrying the monitoring device passes near the "Monitoring Spots" or "Monitors" installed within the city, the child's location information will be recorded at the spot.

3. In cases where the child's whereabouts become unknown and the Parent or Guardian requests the police station to search for the child, if the police station deems it necessary and there is an inquiry about the location information, the location information will be disclosed to the police station.

Note: "Watchers" refers to a free application used by individuals who cooperate in community watch activities.

Eligible Individuals

Monitoring devices will be distributed free of charge to students of Inagi City public elementary schools and their Parents or Guardians who wish to receive them.

Information regarding enrollment in this service will be separately communicated to the Parents or Guardians.
