Change in Wakabadai Branch Office Opening Hours: Open on Sundays (except the day after the 3rd Saturday) and the 4th Saturday; Closed on Fridays

From November 1, 2026, the Wakabadai Branch Office will be open on Sundays (except the day after the 3rd Saturday) and the 4th Saturday.

Fridays are closed, and the reception hours will change to 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Note: Services handled on Saturdays and Sundays differ from those on weekdays.

Note: Weekends can be crowded. Also, since you may need to visit the main government building on a weekday at a later date, please allow plenty of time in your schedule.

The main government building will no longer be open on holidays

Regular holiday openings at the City Hall main building will end on Saturday, October 24.

The Hirao Branch Office will continue to be open on weekdays only.

Main Procedures Available on Weekends

Regarding use on weekends

Weekend opening days: Sundays (except the Sunday following the 3rd Saturday) and the 4th Saturday, excluding the year-end and New Year holidays

Services handled on weekends differ from those on weekdays.

Applications and notifications will only be accepted as document submissions and may be reviewed later by the responsible department, or may not be handled at all.

Weekends can be crowded. Also, since you may be asked to visit the main government building or other offices again on a weekday, please allow plenty of time in your schedule.

Certificates, Address Changes, etc.

• Copies of the Certificate of Residence (Note 1), Seal Registration Certificates, Issuance of Taxation (Non-Taxation) Certificates (Note 2)
• Notification of Moving In, Moving Out, and Change of Residence (Note 3)
• Seal Registration and Cancellation

　(Note) Issuance of Family Register Certificates, Property Tax Certificates, and Tax Payment Certificates is only available on weekdays.

　(Note 1) Some cases, such as third-party requests, may not be handled.

　(Note 2) Issuance of certificates for those required to file Tokyo Metropolitan Resident Tax declarations is only available on weekdays.

　(Note 3) In addition to moving into or relocating to a newly built detached house, changes requiring confirmation of family relationships, moving in from overseas, etc., there may be cases where additional procedures are required at a later date. For address changes of households receiving support measures or households including foreigners, please visit the City Hall main building on weekdays.
