Support for Crime Victims and Others

For those who have been victims of crime, their families, and bereaved families, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and others provide a wide range of support, including consultation services, specialized counseling, and financial support systems, to help recover or alleviate the physical and mental injuries and financial burdens suffered by crime victims and those around them, so that they can regain a safe and secure daily life as soon as possible.

2. Legal Assistance for Crime Victims and Others

There is a support system by Japan Legal Support Center (Houterasu) for crime victims and their families or bereaved relatives, aimed at providing assistance from lawyers for various procedures including criminal, civil, administrative, and others.
