Citizens' Honor Award Presented to the Gold Medalist of the Tokyo 2025 Deaflympics!!

The Tokyo 2025 Deaflympics, an international multi-sport event for deaf athletes, was held over 12 days from November 15 to 26, 2025.

In the women's volleyball competition, as a member of the Japanese national team who won the gold medal, Ayami Matsunaga, who has ties to Inagi City, has been awarded the Citizen's Honor Award in recognition of her achievements.
