On election day, those who are staying in municipalities outside of Inagi City due to business trips or travel will be eligible.

Voting Process

Request for Ballot

Please fill out the "Absentee Voting Oath and Request Form" and submit it directly or by mail to the Election Administration Commission of Inagi City to request a ballot, or request it online.

Note: Requests cannot be made by fax or email.

About Online Requests for Ballots and Related Materials

If you are registered in the Inagi City electoral roll and wish to vote in elections held in Inagi City at a location outside of Inagi City (your place of stay), you can request voting materials online (LoGo form).
For online applications, automatic input by reading the My Number Card is required. Please prepare the following items.

  • My Number Card
  • PIN for Input Assistance of Ticket Information (4 digits)
  • PIN for Digital Signature Certificate (6 to 16 digits)
  • Smartphone
  • "MynaSign" app (used to read the My Number Card)

Note: If you have not installed the "MyNaSign" app, please install it in advance.
Note: Absentee voting at designated facilities (such as hospitals and nursing homes) and absentee voting by mail cannot be accepted through online application. Please check the details on each page for more information.

The application deadline is until 1:00 PM on Friday, July 18, so please be careful.

 

Sending of Ballots

Upon request, we will mail a complete set of ballots to your residence after verifying against the voter registration list.
Note: It will be sent by Letter Pack Plus or expedited simple registered mail, so it will be received in person.

Voting at Your Residence

Please bring the complete set of received ballot papers to the Election Administration Commission at your location and cast your vote.
Note: Please do not open the envelope containing the absentee ballot certificate. If opened, you will not be able to vote.
Note: You cannot pre-fill the ballot paper.

Voting Period and Location

The absentee voting period for the House of Councillors election is from Friday, July 4 to Saturday, July 19.
Note: Please vote early, considering the mailing period.

Note: If there is no election being held at the Election Administration Commission of your stay, it will be during the office hours of that Election Administration Commission. For information on the dates, times, and locations where you can vote, please contact the Election Administration Commission of your stay in advance.
