Income earned from part-time work is considered salary income, so Municipal Resident Tax and Tokyo Metropolitan Resident Tax may apply. If your part-time employer does not submit a salary payment report to City Hall, please file a declaration for Municipal Resident Tax and Tokyo Metropolitan Resident Tax.
