Chairman and Vice Chairman

The chairperson represents the assembly, maintains order in the chamber, organizes proceedings, and handles various administrative tasks of the assembly, holding a very important role. The vice-chairperson performs the duties of the chairperson in their absence, such as during business trips or when they are otherwise unavailable.

Chairman Takefumi Sakata

As the 36th chairman, Councilor Takefumi Sakata was elected on May 15, 2025, and assumed office on the same day.

Vice Chairperson Ataru Nakata
