Council Observation

Would you like to attend a city council meeting?

You can attend the Regular Session plenary meetings and the committee meetings held during the Regular Session period at the City Council.

The city council is looking forward to your attendance.

 

Guide Map

The city council's main assembly hall is located on the 4th floor of the Inagi Fire Station, which is next to Inagi City Hall.

The committee room is located on the 4th floor of Inagi City Hall.

If you wish to observe the City Council, please come to the 4th floor of City Hall, Inagi City Council Secretariat, and complete the necessary procedures.

Below, detailed procedures and precautions for attending as an observer are also posted, so please read them carefully.

How to Attend as an Observer

1. Please come to the reception desk of the Inagi City Council Secretariat on the 4th floor of Inagi City Hall.

2. Please fill in your address and name on the "Audience Application Form" at the counter and hand it to the Inagi City Council Secretariat staff.

3. Receive the admission ticket and the materials for observation, and the procedure is complete.

4. Please return the admission ticket to the Inagi City Council Secretariat when you leave.

Documents such as proposals

Bill-related materials can be viewed at the Council Library located opposite the Inagi City Council Secretariat.

Notes for Observers

Please observe the following rules in the public gallery.

1. Please be quiet.
2. Do not express approval or disapproval by applause or other means in the chamber (committee room).
3. Do not engage in intimidating behavior towards those currently in the assembly hall (committee room).
4. Mobile phones and other devices that emit sound must be turned off or set to silent mode.
5. Do not eat, drink, or smoke.
6. Do not disturb the order of the chamber (committee room) or obstruct the meeting.
7. Do not engage in behavior that causes inconvenience to others.
8. Do not take photos, record audio or video, or broadcast.
9. Follow the instructions of the staff.

For Those Accompanying Infants and Young Children

At the city council, those accompanied by infants and young children can also attend the plenary sessions (committees) with their children.

If you start crying, please cooperate by temporarily leaving the chamber (committee room).

After leaving the room, you can listen to the audio in the council library.

You can also re-enter after calming down.

Use of Wheelchair Access and Sign Language Interpretation

For Wheelchair Users

The city council provides a space where wheelchair users can observe the sessions.

Please contact the Inagi City Council Secretariat.

 

For those who wish to have sign language interpretation

The city council provides sign language interpretation for council observation.

Since prior reservation is required, those who wish to do so, please consult with the Inagi City Council Secretariat by fax or through the inquiry form.
