Tokyo Verdy players visited an elementary school!

Special class with professional players held
On June 2, Tokyo Verdy players Riku Matsuda and Seibun Teranuma visited Nagamine Elementary School in the city and held an interactive class with the students.
This initiative is conducted annually with the aim of promoting the healthy development of children through sports and conveying the importance of having dreams. This time, 58 sixth-grade students participated.
Seeing the players they usually watch at the stadium or on TV right in front of them, the children enjoyed interacting with bright, shining eyes.
Introduction Quiz
An introduction quiz was held to help the children get to know the two players better. It was an opportunity to discover new charms of the players that cannot be seen on the usual field.
Demonstrations and Mini-Games Using the Ball
In the demonstration, we actually used the ball to perform juggling and passing. It was a valuable experience to play together with professional players.
Additionally, we held a mini-game involving the players and the children. Divided into Team Matsuda and Team Teranuma, everyone enjoyed interacting while moving their bodies together with the players.
Commemorative photo and sending off the players with a flower path
At the conclusion of the exchange class, the players handed signed flags and autograph boards to the representative students of each class.
Also, to see off the players as they exited, the children formed a flower path and gave high-fives to send them off.
It was a valuable opportunity for the children to feel close to professional sports, making the entire day filled with smiles.
