Sewerage Operations Beneficiary Burden Fee System
Beneficiary Burden Payment System
In areas where public sewerage is developed, wastewater from households and businesses can be directly discharged into the sewer system, improving the living environment and ultimately increasing the convenience of the land.
Therefore, the "Beneficiary Burden System" under the "Ordinance on the Burden of Beneficiaries of the Inagi City Sewerage Operations" based on Article 75 of the City Planning Act aims to promote further development by having those who benefit from the public sewerage system bear part of the construction costs.
Beneficiary (the person who pays the beneficiary burden fee)
Landowners (landlords) or rights holders (surface rights holders, pledge holders, leaseholders, etc.) within the area where public sewerage is being developed will be the beneficiaries, and these individuals will be required to pay the burden fees.
Land subject to burden fees
The public sewer system is divided into several burden districts for the purpose of developing drainage areas, and the areas where the sewer system is scheduled to be developed within three years are being sequentially designated and announced as the areas subject to assessment.

The amount of the burden fee is
The land area is 490 yen per square meter.
The amount of the burden to be paid is the unit burden amount of 490 yen per square meter multiplied by the area of the land.

490 yen × 165 square meters = 80,850 yen (rounding down any fraction under 10 yen)
