In forests affected by oak wilt, it has been confirmed that the highly toxic mushroom Kaeentake appears at the time of damage occurrence or several years later.
Kaeentake contains extremely potent toxins, and if accidentally ingested, it poses a risk of death.
It is also said that touching the poisonous mushroom can cause inflammation.
Currently, there have been no reports of occurrence in city parks, but please do not touch it if you find it.
Note: Kaeintake is often found near dead oak trees affected by oak wilt, but the relationship is not clearly understood at this time.
