The Mayor of Inagi City provides the Inagi City Japanese Oak Wilt Countermeasure Subsidy (hereinafter referred to as the "subsidy") within the budget limits to citizens who have implemented measures such as prevention and extermination of Japanese Oak Wilt damage caused by the Japanese Oak Wilt fungus transmitted by the Oak Ambrosia Beetle. This aims to prevent the spread of Japanese Oak Wilt damage within Inagi City and to conserve the natural environment.

Eligible for Subsidy

This project involves contracting and implementing prevention measures to stop the death of uninfected or slightly affected Japanese Oak Wilt trees, or extermination through insecticide treatment and processing of trees affected by Japanese Oak Wilt, carried out by capable business operators, in order to suppress the spread of Japanese Oak Wilt damage to oak, chinquapin, and camphor trees on privately owned land within Inagi City.
